What you need to know
- Approx 1-hour hot air balloon flight over/around Melbourne (dependent on wind direction)
- A digital flight certificate
- Complimentary photos to remember the once-in-a-lifetime experience
- Best pilots and crew in the business - compulsory quarterly safety seminars are conducted with operations team
- Return hotel transfer
- A sparkling buffet Breakfast with hot plated offering (selection) with side options, as well as a glass of sparkling, coffee, tea and juice - This is available as an optional upgrade, please choose this option at the time of purchase if breakfast is required

- The flight itself is approx. one hour
- Please allow 3.5hrs for the flight only experience, 4.5hrs for the flight & breakfast experience
- The time will be confirmed by the pilot the night before your flight
- We meet approximately one and a half hours before sunrise
- Tours depart from Pullman On The Park, 192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne
- After the flight, Global Ballooning will drive guests back to the Pullman Hotel to enjoy a sparkling buffet breakfast if they’ve included it in their package
- Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to download the Global Ballooning mobile app to receive the flight status update by 6pm the night before your flight.

- Hot air ballooning is an audience participation activity and you will be encouraged to assist with the set up and pack away of the balloon itself. It is an active morning in the outdoors, so do wear clothes that can get stained or dirty
- Please note - The balloon burners sometimes drip water mixed with Carbon. Global Ballooning will not be responsible for clothing that is stained or damaged because of our adventure activity
- Weather - If you do not fly due to inclement weather, please use the rebook link to confirm a new date (this will be emailed to you), or email balloon@globalballooning.com.au if you would prefer a refund.

- Your booking is valid for 12 months from your first cancelled flight date.
- If you cancel your flight more than 7 days before the flight, no cancellation fee will be charged and you are able to reschedule a new flight day
- If you cancel your flight within 7 days before the flight, a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged and you are able to reschedule a new flight day
- If you cancel your flight within 48 hours the flight, no refund will be offered and you will not be able to reschedule a new flight day
- If your flight is cancelled, you will have 12mths to re-book. Strictly non-refundable.
- In the unfortunate event you should have to reschedule or cancel your booking, these conditions strictly apply: More than 7 days before your flight, you’re welcome to make changes & alterations without any fees incurred. Refunds will incur a $25 admin fee. Between 7 days & 48 hours before your flight – a $50 per person cancellation/alteration fee will be charged; weekday flights will need to be rescheduled on a weekday only, excluding public holidays. Refunds will also incur a $25 admin fee. Within 48 hours of your flight no changes are permitted – passengers are advised to make their own insurance provisions in the case of unforeseen circumstances, including being unwell to fly due to illness. Flights will not be refunded or rescheduled if passengers cancel or do not show for their ballooning experience on the morning of the scheduled flight.
